Theresa Collison, B.S., ACE-PT

Theresa is in her second year as a Navy SHAPE Fitness Specialist. She received her B.S. in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Fitness Specialist from Indiana University and is a certified Personal Trainer through the American Council on Exercise. She has also been working as a Corrective Exercise Specialist (CES) through the National Academy of Sports Medicine, a certified Function Movement Screening Specialist (FMS), and a Navy Operation Fitness and Fueling Series (NOFFS) Instructor. She enjoys seeing the direct impact of tailored, functional exercise on the quality of life for her clients and group exercise participants.

Brad received his B.S. in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Fitness Specialist Science from Indiana University in 2007. Brad is a Certified Personal Trainer (cPT), Performance Enhancement Specialist (PES), and Corrective Exercise Specialist (CES) through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) and a Functional Movement Screening (FMS) Specialist through Functional Movement Systems. Brad has worked in the fitness industry for 6 years as a Personal Trainer and Health Educator instructing and guiding a wide variety of clients on how to most effectively achieve their goals. Brad has been involved in fitness since he was 11 years old, his early interest in resistance training lead to competing on the National level in Amateur Strongman competitions. Brad believes that exercise is the universal tool we all should use in order to function and perform better in life, decrease future health risks, improve quality-of-life, and most importantly...make life look good! Additionally, Brad promotes the concept that realistic goals are achievable for everyone if they really want them. Brad is beginning his third year with SHAPE in Norfolk with fellow SHAPE Fitness Specialist, Theresa Collison.
